Catholic life and practice is blessed with many forms of prayer and devotional practices. At St. Nicholas we have groups that pray the Miraculous Medal Novena each Monday morning (after the 9am Mass, upper church) and night (at 7pm in the Lower Church Chapel).
On Wednesdays, from 9:30am to 8pm we have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Lower church Chapel. Individuals and families are encouraged to spend time in quiet prayer before the Lord. Come for a minute, for ten minutes or for an hour. You will find it a wonderful setting for meditation and contemplation, bringing God's love for you and the world more deeply into yur heart.
On Fridays the Devotion to the Sacred Heart is prayer after the 9am Mass in the Upper Church.
Throughout the year special "Evenings with ..." one or another saint are scheduled to help people think and pray about their life with God through the example of some person acknowledged by the church to have done that well.
